• What is PAT Testing and why it's important

• Understanding the two main classes of electrical appliances

• How to carry out a visual inspection effectively

• How to perform a simple combined visual and practical PAT test

• What steps to take when equipment fails a PAT test

• Understanding the risks and consequences of not performing PAT testing

By the end of the session, participants will be able to confidently carry out basic PAT tests in low-risk environments and recognise when further action or specialist input is needed.
